After the success of receiving hundreds of views for the blog series we ran during during May-July, we’ll be launching a new blog series this autumn.
We’re looking for blogs of 400-700 words related to environmental politics. The blog can be based on your latest research, what’s happening in the news, or simply the latest idea that’s running through your mind. We’re looking to stimulate debate.
If you’re interested in taking part, please email Paul at pat506 [at] york.ac.uk. To get a feel for some of the previous blogs we’ve published, scroll down to see them below!
Calling all members of the PSA Specialist Group on Environmental Politics!
The PSA Annual Conference 2015 is fast approaching, and the Specialist Group on Environmental Politics will propose up to four panels for inclusion in the programme.
Last year’s submissions were outstanding, and we are keen to repeat the lively debate that surrounded our panels in Manchester. Next year’s conference will take place 30th March – 1st April in Sheffield. You’ll find all available information on the conference web pages linked here. Registration rates will be published at the end of October and registration opens at the end of November.
Panel and Paper submissions:
We welcome your submissions for both panels and individual papers by 5pm 10 October. Please email your submission to l.maythorne [at] bathspa.ac.uk and e.bomberg [at] ed.ac.uk
- We will assemble individual paper submissions into thematic panels post-hoc.
- Panel proposals will need to include full details of the papers and their authors.
Proposed panels currently looking for paper givers are listed below. Please contact the panel ‘owner’ directly if you would like to be considered as a paper-giver on their panel.
‘Thinking Globally, Acting Locally: Environmental Politics at the Local Level’: please email Paul and Max at pat506 [at] york.ac.uk and mxl615 [at] student.bham.ac.uk if you would like to be considered for the panel.
